	Pie taken down by Grinsell St Girls Laverne and Shirl have out classed Neil Crittenden in what was thought to be a fair bet at the start of season 2009/2010. The opening salvos were fired through the week by the girls. Coup curator G Curnow said 'the girls were off their grain on the Friday before the season started, but to my surprise the next morning they produced the goods and were out of the blocks in style'. L & S producing approx 6 eggs per week for 112 eggs across the season. Crittenden was out of the blocks to a flyer with a 5th ball duck in the first game. Things got worse in rd 2 with a 3rd ball duck. It was a sign of the times unfortunately with a final run tally of 92 for the year. G Curnow summed it up best when he said 'the girls were only after fair fight, so even though it didn't really turn out that way, they were over the moon to have a red scalp pinned to the coup wall'. 	MDCC End of Season Show Thanks to Goody for organising the show last Saturday night at Townson Oval - good times had by all.
